The first day of Spring is my most important holiday. Spring is not a date. Nature does not obey rational man-made tick-tock laws, and neither should we. Spring is a feeling in nature, in the environment where you are. It is undeniable, all around us and everybody feels it even if they later reason with themselves that they couldn't possibly feel it.

Spring hasn't arrived yet . . . but she's close. You'll know it when she's here. She never comes in quietly. Thunder and lightning herald her arrival. She is magnificent!
